From my earliest days, I have found joy in the world of books. As a lifelong reader, I always dreamed of writing and becoming a published author. Love

This is one of the first little paintings I did.  I was and still am trying to master faces.  It’s been fun exploring with color, shapes and technique while learning and developing my style....

Lamp

I should have taken a before.  This lamp was sad with its dated bronze finish and stained shade. I used duck blue chalk paint and jute on the shade to give this little lamp a new life.  My first thought was to take off the beaded fringe but decided that I liked the contrast next to the jute....
