This book is in my top five of all-time favorite reads!  While not easy, due to content and thought-provoking text it is worth the time!   While telling the incredible life story of Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer you will also learn about the world at the time of the Nazi Reign during WWII.  Many times, I would read a paragraph and have to stop and digest what was said.  My emotions were all over the place!

In the end I was in tears.  Tears of sadness, tears of anger and tears of pride for a man I had never met.
